Naranjo Roses Hosts Vacation Camp for Our Collaborators’ Children
On August 14, 2025, Naranjo Roses welcomed the youngest members of our extended family to the “Soy Naranjo” Vacation Camp, held at our Salache N1 farm. The initiative, part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility, aimed to provide children with a joyful, safe, and enriching experience during their school break—combining fun, learning, and values that will inspire them for life.
The day began with warm smiles and a lively welcome, setting the tone for a memorable journey. After a healthy breakfast to fuel their energy, the children participated in outdoor games and collaborative activities led by the Fundación Red Mujeres Cotopaxi in partnership with Grupo Scout Cotopaxi. These activities encouraged teamwork, friendship, and the simple joy of playing together under the open sky.
One of the day’s highlights was the “Healthy Eating” talk delivered by Dr. Adriana Cevallos, who shared practical tips for balanced nutrition in childhood. The interactive session inspired curiosity and participation, helping children understand how food choices impact their growth, energy, and well-being.
After a nutritious community lunch and an afternoon filled with laughter and competitions, the camp concluded with a special gesture: the delivery of school supply kits—backpacks filled with essential materials to support the children’s return to school. The joy and gratitude on their faces reminded us of the true impact of these initiatives.
Just eight days prior to the camp, Naranjo Roses took another important step in supporting the families of our team: the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Sierra Fértil Nursery – Fundación Cecilia Mayorga. This agreement ensures access to a trusted and professional childcare service for children between 1 and 5 years old, offering academic support, health care, nutritious meals, and a variety of enriching activities. As part of our Blooming Together vision, this partnership not only supports the day-to-day needs of our team but also reflects our belief that social responsibility begins at home — nurturing the roots that allow both our people and our roses to flourish. By partnering with a center that has the official authorization of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES), we reaffirm our commitment to the well-being and education of the next generation. This service is not only a compliance with Ecuador’s labor regulations but also a reflection of our belief that when families flourish, our company blossoms as well.
This day would not have been possible without the dedication of our organizing team, the collaboration of Fundación Red Mujeres Cotopaxi, Grupo Scout Cotopaxi, Dr. Adriana Cevallos, Guardería Cecilia Mayorga, and the Salache community. Together, we created an environment where children could feel valued, encouraged, and supported.
At Naranjo Roses, we believe that Blooming Together begins in childhood. By investing in the well-being and education of our collaborators’ families, we plant the seeds of confidence, empathy, and resilience that will grow alongside them. The “Soy Naranjo” Vacation Camp is more than just a day of activities—it’s a celebration of our people, our values, and our commitment to a brighter future for all.
